The Candlepin Challenge television show debuted on CN8 October 20, 2001, ending its run June 20, 2009 (on Comcast SportsNet). The program featured some of the greatest candlepin bowlers in the history of the sport...not to mention someup and coming youth bowlers! The show originally starred Dan Murphy with Phil Burton. At the end of it's run, Murphy, John Holt and Trina Fernandez were featured as on air talent. The show was staged in several centers in Massachusetts (including Pilgrim Lanes in Haverhill, Fairway Sports World in Natick and Woburn Bowladrome).
